outfit recap 2.19-2.23
Recently over on my Instagram, I’ve been posting daily outfit inspirations. With starting a new job, I had to go from dressing really casually to more of a business casual dress code. I’m a huge believer in staple pieces that you can mix and match, particularly those that you can get at an affordable price. Places like Old Navy, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx and J.Crew are my go-to for pieces that I love. I don’t necessarily see myself as a ~fashionista~ but I consider my style classic preppy with a mix of some more “hip” pieces.
Sunday:
Sunday was spent shopping and cleaning around the house. My favorite go-to shoes are these Steve Madden sneakers.
Monday:
Does anyone else get home from work and immediately change into comfy clothes? We’re working on making decisions on projects for the new house, so after work I slipped into something more comfortable and ran around getting samples. I love this comfort colors shirt that I got from our recent trip to the Caribbean.
Tuesday:
I am SO obsessed with these pixie pants from Old Navy. I have them in literally every color imaginable. Protip: wait until the end of the season and Old Navy will discount the new colors. I lusted over these emerald colored pixie’s for almost a year, but I scored them for $1.80 last week. Wednesday:
Another day, another meeting. Wednesday I went a little more casual to meet clients. It has been SO rainy here and i’m hating it. I am, however, still obsessing over these shoes from Basil & Blush clothing. They’re seriously so comfy and I’ve gotten a TON of compliments on them. Snag a pair while they’re in stock!
Thursday:
Again, with the clearance pixie pants. These raspberry pants are to die for. This top is one of my favorites from Nordstrom Rack. I’m loving the bell sleeve trend and I hope it stays around forever.
Friday:
Casual Friday is *the* best day of the week. This shirt from myjoytribe.com is seriously one of my favorites. It’s a go to when I want to be comfy. Hope y’all are ready for the weekend and having a great Friday!
