surprise!

It’s always awkward when someone pops up on social media after they ghost you, so let me explain our hiatus -- we’ve been busy. We love our blog and we love the people who read it. We are grown women with a lot of commitments. Occasionally, we need to put our hobby on the back-burner. Our New Year’s resolution, as a group, is to keep producing consistent, quality content and continuing to grow our blog!

All of that being said, I have some news. During our hiatus, I added a member to my family!

Meet Winston the Yorkiepoo! We’ve had him for a little over a month and he’s the most exhausting, adorable, loving pup. We’d been discussing the idea of a puppy for months and Winston happened to pop up on our radar the week before my birthday.

He has a pretty common doggy name, but we decided to name him after one of “our” TV shows. We’ve both been watching New Girl since it started airing and Winston is one of our favorite characters! Since we got him, he’s been to five different states, he went on his first road trip, he’s learned lots of commands, and he’s finally stopped peeing where he’s not supposed to (for the most part).

I’m loving the puppy stage! As a first time dog owner, I was a little unprepared for the amount of attention and energy he was going to take up but it’s so worth it. Welcome to the family, little pup!
